Annual Numbering Charges

Ask your carriage service provider about the cost of owning the right to use a smartnumber® and connecting it to a service.

Carriage service providers may pass on annual numbering charges to the rights of use holder for a number. Annual numbering charges are imposed by government on carriage service providers holding smartnumbers®. For a smartnumber® commencing with '13' (that is six digits in length), the charge is approximately $10,000.00 per year. However, '1300' and '1800' numbers (that are ten digits in length), are subject to a charge of approximately $1 per year.
