Payment information

Payments for smartnumbers® are due 30 days after the close of the auction. You will be sent an invoice after the conclusion of the auction which details the due date for payment and provides information about how to pay.

To view the methods of payment, click here. Note: Payments by credit card are generally authorised immediately. This method of payment provides the fastest way to obtain a registration or make a payment for a smartnumber®.

If your payment is not made by the due date, the ACMA may grant an additional period of up to 30 days for payment. The end of this period is the final payment date.

If your payment is not received in full (Note: ACMA cannot accept any other payment terms other than full payment) by ACMA by the final payment date (i.e. within 60 days of the auction), the following occurs:

• the rights of use to the number will not be allocated;
• the number will be returned to the auction pool;
• ACMA may suspend your smartnumbers® registration thereby barring you from participating in further auctions;
• Your debt remains a debt to the Commonwealth; and
• ACMA will initiate debt recovery action.
